Statement from Sen. Berger on Policy Planning

Raleigh, N.C. — Senate Leader Phil Berger (R-Rockingham) today released the following statement regarding policy planning. The N.C. House of Representatives announced earlier today their intention to form task forces.

“We look forward to hearing from the House’s task forces over the coming weeks. The Senate continues to plan for appropriate policy and fiscal responses through its committees and committee chairs. Collaboration within and between the legislative and executive branches will be critical to successfully responding to the ongoing crisis.”
