Senator Berger Responds to Attack on Blexit Movement
Berger met with Blexit NC Director Danielle Robinson last week
Raleigh, N.C. — The N.C. Democratic Party yesterday attacked the Blexit movement and its North Carolina leader, Danielle Robinson, calling it a “fringe organization” and blasting the media for “lending credibility to this organization.”
In response, Senate Leader Phil Berger (R-Rockingham), who met with Ms. Robinson last week in Raleigh, said, “The new radical Democratic Party has abandoned the black community with its anti-school choice policies and far-left social agenda. It’s not surprising, then, that the Democratic Party would resort to personal attacks against people of color who have begun a movement to leave the party that’s already left them.”
