Instead of Working on Unemployment Claims, the Dept. of Commerce is Hosting Paper Towel Training. Really.

Raleigh, N.C. — The N.C. Department of Commerce hasn’t gotten to hundreds of thousands of unemployment claims as North Carolinians go months without the assistance they’re due.

But the Department of Commerce found time to host an all-employee training titled, “How to Use Only One Paper Towel.”

Seriously. Look at the screenshot below:

Perhaps Gov. Cooper could direct some of the employees who participated in the paper towel training to spend their time getting unemployment assistance checks out the door.
